Let Us Help You: In-Home Care Services: INCHARGE Home Care Program
The Dale Association offers Medicaid eligible residents who qualify for home care through the Department of Social Services “INCHARGE”, a consumer-directed personal assistance home care program.
INCHARGE Home Care Program:
This program empowers handicapped or chronically ill individuals to recruit, interview, hire, train, supervise and schedule their own care aides. The Dale Association trains the consumer (client) on how the program works, and we pay their personal assistance aides.
Care Aides assist with:
- Bathing, dressing and grooming
- Light housekeeping
- Medications and treatments
- Cooking and feeding
- Transferring and exercise
- Laundry
- Toileting
- Grocery shopping and errands
To Qualify for INCHARGE, Consumers must be:
- Niagara County residents
- Currently receiving or be approved for home care assistance by the Department of Social Services
- Eligible for Medicaid
- Medically stable
- In need of home care for a minimum of 180 days
- “Self-directing” or have a significant other who agrees to take responsibility for supervising the Care Aide(s).
