CARE MANAGEMENT When adult children reach the point where they find it necessary to intervene on their aging parent's behalf, they soon discover a whole world of bureaucracies and services they find overwhelming and difficult to decipher. New issues include such matters as: learning about specific disabilities, finding the right doctor, identifying social services, locating capable caretakers, helping parents manage their finances, dealing with filling out forms, investigating day care and in some cases researching safer living accommodations. The Dale Association offers a Care Management Program, which assists individuals and families with the lifestyle changes associated with aging. This fee for service program will coordinate:
