Bonnie's Rosie Quilt

We are pleased to welcome Bonnie Patterson for this wonderful bed-sized (74½" x 84½") quilt top made with four-patch and counterpane blocks. Bonnie promises, "it's fast, it's fun and it goes together quickly…if you can sew in a straight line, you have it made!" A great project for all experience levels; you need to know how to rotary cut and use a sewing machine. Supply list given at registration.  Heartland Quilt Shop on Route 104 will give you a 15% discount on your class supplies - just tell Tara you're in Bonnie's class  ( and show your paid registration receipt too!)

Hand Painted Stained Glass Night Light

Week one, Pam Bock shows you how to paint delicate florals on stained glass; the next week, using basic stained glass techniques, Suzanne Todaro shows how to copper foil and solder your pieces to make a stunning night light.

Stepping Stones, Garden Markers, Mosaics and More!

Create your own pathway from glass and cement.  Choose to do a patterned stone or a random mosaic out of glass scraps and cement. Learn how to design a stone and how to make a larger mold. Take home a small stone to build your garden path around. Bring a glass cutter, safety glasses, rubber gloves, a pie tin, and a snack. Held at Art Effects; pre-registration at The Dale Association required.

Garden Lollipop

Learn how to fuse glass and solder copper to create an amazing glass lollipop for your garden. Start by making an 8" glass round in our kiln, then band it in copper with an edge decoration and, using copper pipe, mount it! Bring a glass cutter, safety glasses, wire cutters and, needle nose pliers. Held at Art Effects; pre-registration at The Dale Association required.

The Art of Henna

It's fun, relaxing and it's been used to adorn young women's bodies since the Bronze Age - you can even do it at home once you know how! JoAnn Human shows you using all natural henna paste and stencils then practice applying decorative tattoos under her guidance. Lots of handouts.
